Confidentiality
Confidentiality is pivotal in maintaining trust and professionalism with a client and is imperative in any therapeutic relationship. Oak Tree is committed to protecting client confidentiality and will only share information with others if directed to do so by you the client or court order. If information is required by other professionals you will be asked to sign a Consent Form for the Exchange of Information. Note: An exception is Email Counselling where complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of emailing.
Limitations to Confidentiality
It is a requirement by law to report to the proper authorities in the case of child abuse. If there is a clear possibility of suicide or homicide, contact will be made with appropriate authorities or support systems.

The Oak Tree contact form requires that you enter personal information which includes, but is not limited to, name, telephone number, and email address.
